landon doesn't know it, but he has signed up to have most of his life, his antics, & his growth documented by one crazy "auntie" of his. he's been a great subject for me to practice chasing children- because he doesn't know how to sit still. a lot of times our shoots are unplanned & going on during dinner or some other activity. what i have learned in the few short weeks i have considered myself a "memory capturing professional" - note the quotations, please- is that children are on the move, they aren't held down with any fear, they go for the gusto, sometimes ending up with a scraped knee, but in general have no fear.
i like to think landon & i have a special bond. he comes from pretty laid-back parents, but he came into this world & gave us all a little scare- he just wanted us to know he had arrived. i like to think he gets his dramatic side from his aunt heba.
peek-a-boo during dinner
as still as he gets
