recently, i was asked by my sweet friend tyler, also a photographer, to come & do a session with her family, & her dog cooper. cooper has been sadly diagnosed with cancer, & a full recovery would likely be a miracle. upon hearing the news, i made sure to snuggle sammy just a little tighter. i never used to understand people who considered dogs a member of the family- i thought it weird, in fact. now, i can't imagine life without my own. cooper, here's to wishing for a miracle.

I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive. |
